The list below includes general definitions of crimes included in the crime mapping application.
  Aggravated Assault
  An unlawful attack by one person upon another wherein the offender uses a weapon or displays it in a threatening manner, or the victim suffers obvious severe or aggravated bodily injury involving apparent broken bones, loss of teeth, possible internal injury, severe laceration, or loss of consciousness.

  Arson
  To unlawfully and intentionally damage or attempt to damage any real or personal property by fire or incendiary device.

  Auto Theft
  Knowingly obtains or exercises control over the motor vehicle of another without authorization or by threat or deception.

  Burglary
  The unlawful entry into a building or occupied structure with the intent to commit a crime, other than trespass.

  Criminal Mischief
  Knowingly damages the real or personal property of one or more other persons.

  Homicide
  The killing of a person by another.

  Indecent Exposure
  Knowingly exposes his genitals to the view of any person under circumstances in which such conduct is likely to cause affront or alarm to the other person.

  Robbery
  Knowingly takes anything of value from the person or presence of another by the use of force, threats, or intimidation.

  Sexual Assault
  Knowingly inflicts sexual intrusion or sexual penetration on a victim.

  Theft
  Knowingly obtains or exercises control over anything of value of another without authorization, or by threat or deception.

  THMV (Theft from Motor Vehicle)
  The theft of articles from a motor vehicle, locked or unlocked.

  Not carried through to completion.

  Completed
  Carried through to completion.
